Fine Florals for Your Host

In the U.S. and across the globe, it’s customary to provide a host or hostess with a gift in thanks. Especially when that event is an elaborate effort, like Thanksgiving. Ideally, we offer flowers, fruit baskets, or other food gifts, all of which we at Bice’s Florist can help you select. But when it comes to flowers, there are a few important considerations. It’s traditional to offer them in a vase, for one. The flowers should be accommodating in both color scheme and type. Since we often don’t know our host’s exact tastes, it’s best to choose something that is an all-around crowd-pleaser.

This is why we love our Autumn Alstroemeria so much. It’s the perfect scale and comes in a lovely cubed vase. It offers all of those harvest hues, which makes it the perfect accompaniment to existing seasonal decor. And because it’s an arrangement of lilies, it won’t irritate allergy sufferers, since lilies are pollen-free.

We like that this design is simple, seasonal, and modestly-sized, and could see it on a credenza or in the kitchen as well as in the middle of the dining room table. Once given, it’s up to the host to decide where to put the fine flowers they receive, but a design like this one ensures they won’t have any trouble.

This Thanksgiving, don’t forget to show how grateful you are to your hosts for their efforts and generosity. Let us at Bice’s Florist help you get that message across.
